I like the distinction between pushing and challenging your child. Definitely some useful ideas there. It only helps us as parents to take time every once in a while to evaluate our approach to parenting. Thanks for sharing these resources!

The distinction between pushing and challenging is definitely on my mind - so the article was a timely find! I'm wondering about the distinction with regard to play-based learning vs other styles. I have a quiet son who seems to be going under the radar in play-based learning - but is that because he's not being challenged, and would asking more of him be challenging or pushing? I'm still pondering ...
